Well, that’s it over for another year and what a golfing spectacle it has been. Firstly, the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart and then The Open Championship at Muirfield last week. Phil Mickelson achieved a remarkable double by winning the Scottish Open and achieving a life-long ambition by becoming the
R&A’s Champion Golfer of 2013.
Our interior designers love working on these projects, especially when they are recognised as amongst the best courses in the world. There is a particular thrill when we see the project come together after months of planning. The short video below shows the fitting out day at Royal Troon Golf Club – at this speed we definitely can’t be accused of slow play!
The ‘Architect’s Choice Top 100 Golf Courses’ was compiled by
www.golfcoursearchitecture.net and includes the opinions of many of the world’s most famous golf club architects. So, what got the No.1 slot? The Old Course at St Andrews was voted the best.
