Does Jenga have a place in your home?

19 April 2012

product

The game “Jenga” has been around since the early 70’s and is a much loved family game in many household around the World. Jenga consists of taking one and only one block from any of the 18 levels (except the one below the incomplete top level) of the tower, and placing it on the topmost level to complete it. The game ends when the tower falls in even a minor way – in other words, any piece falls from the tower, other than the piece being knocked out to move to the top. The winner is the last person to successfully remove and place a block.

The name is derived from a Swahili word meaning “to build.”

So, why are we telling you all about a game that you most probably already know all about? Because our latest dining range is inspired by Jenga. As you will see from the picture below, the building blocks, each one three times longer than it is wide, has a strong design influence on the design of this superb range of furniture.
It’s extremely sturdy and built to the highest quality and unlike the game we guarantee it won’t fall apart during family get togethers!
