First of all, we would like to offer our apologies for bringing up the subject of Christmas when we have only just said goodbye to summer. And yes, we know that it is questionable whether we actually had one in the first place. However, we have our reasons, allow us to explain. We often find that our customers leave their plans to redecorate a room or even just purchase a piece of furniture in the lead up to Christmas too late. Christmas is a time for family and all too often the time is spent at home with those who you may not have seen that much throughout the year.
It is at this time many people want their homes to be looking good and so the plans to decorate start in the weeks before Christmas. However, this is far too late and let us explain why. It is not that John Dick & Son are being unhelpful, but rather we are offering a word of advice. If you are planning to purchase a piece of furniture or re do a full room, we would advise you to start planning no later than the end of September.
The reason for this is simply that due to demand being high at this time of year, furniture manufacturers have closing dates for delivery in the lead up to Christmas. Furthermore, we understand that buying a furniture for your home is a big decision and many of our customers like us to come to their houses with samples in order for them to visualize how the furniture will look, meaning the process for choosing, ordering and delivering furniture can take weeks and the last thing we would want is for our customers to be disappointed.
We want to ensure you get what you want and in time for Christmas, therefore, if you are considering new furniture before Christmas, act now. We are happy to help you choose the perfect room set or piece off furniture to add to your home. So please give as a call or arrange to meet us for a coffee and a chat about what you would like and we can ensure you are not disappointed.
