If you’ve been watching television over the Christmas period you’ll have found it difficult to avoid the many furniture adverts that have been appearing on your screens.  It occurred to us that there is an enormous variance in price for the ‘great deals’ the various retailers have on offer.  One advert will promote a 3 seater sofa at an ‘incredibly low price of £499’ and the very next advert can be another similar looking 3 seater sofa at and ‘incredibly low price of £1599’!  What’s the difference in these two great deals apart from the obvious £1100 price tag?  The answer is in the quality of the furniture, sofas vary enormously in quality and two pieces that, at first glance, look similar are indeed very different – the difference is in the detail.

We took a quick wander round the showroom with a camera to try and highlight some of the detailing that are tell tale signs of fine quality furniture, we hope you can appreciate from these pictures some of the design elements that make the difference.  If you’re looking for a new sofa, take a closer look at the attention to detail and the little extra elements that make a sofa truly special, this same attention to detail is usually reflected in the materials and the build quality – and importantly, in the materials you can’t see.
